Tobay Beach derives its name as an acronym for Town of Oyster Bay. It is an exclusive beach in Massapequa just passed Jones Beach on a quiet bay with calm, shallow waters. Tobay is lively but rarely over-packed. It’s only a short walk to the water through any of three different tunnels, the east of which leads to the surfing area. Bodyboarding is permitted in all areas of the beach and fishing is permitted except between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. At the beach, visitors will find a September 11th memorial, the spray park playground, and Singleton’s Seafood Shack, a casual sit-down restaurant.
This park requires visitors to be a Resident of the Town of Oyster Bay.
