Description

This serene 100-acre park, situated in Mastic Beach. Originally, the park was part of a former Golf Course called “Links”.

Currently the park is in the first phase and boasts a beautiful entrance with brand-new walking and jogging trails, a playground, and picnic areas.  As of its opening in October the Brookhaven Parks department has yet to complete some aspects of the park, such as the bathrooms.

The Parks name “Patriots Preserve”  pays homage to the Revolutionary history of the surround areas of Mastic, Mastic Beach and Shirley; The Mastic Peninsula host’s the home of St Georges Manor and William Floyd, whom signed the Declaration of Independence.
