Blydenburgh County Park is a richly forested plot of land that includes hills, streams and a pond. The Park offers up a wide variety of activities, that include row boat rentals, fishing on the breath taken Stump Pond, Casual strolls through the historic Blydenburgh family Farm and it’s ‘New Mill’ Historic District featuring a grist mill..
The country park is a full 427 acre’s and is open year round to any resident of Suffolk County and their guests.
The Horseback riding trails are also open from the neighboring streets or you can trailer the horses in to the Northern entrance.
Rowboating is typically available through the southern entrance (off of Vets Highway) and rentals go from Mid-May to Labor Day.
Hiking can be a blast too! The Greenbelt Trail conference runs regular hikes through blydenburgh.
Blydenburghs Dog Park is a combination of a wooded area and a grassy field. The 2 areas are fully fenced in and has park benches for the humans and running water for the dogs.
